April Social Media Bike Challenge

Thursday, April 30, 2020

The BCC is changing it up this year to include more kinds of bike rides and activities that don't require a destination or gathering in groups.

You can start right now by biking when you can, just for the health of it! Then post a picture or story of your ride on your public Instagram, Twitter account, or Facebook and tag it with @bicyclecommuterchallenge (IG) #Thurstonbcc (Twitter) or Thurston County Bicycle Commuter Challenge (FB). Each week in April, we'll enter submissions in a drawing to win a prize! If you're not into the social media thing, you can just email your pic or story to us at: dgreen@intercitytransit.com. You must have a Thurston County mailing address to be entered in the prize drawings.

Make sure to maintain social distancing on your ride, keep it local, and ride extra cautiously to avoid injuries.
