We are trying something new! Starting this spring, we are offering free community classes at the new Walk N Roll bike shop! The Walk N Roll Bike Shop is the home for Walk N Roll’s bike classes and offers volunteer opportunities to refurbish donated bikes that are given to youth who complete our Earn A Bike classes.
Intercity Transit’s Winter Bicycle Challenge encourages all Thurston County Residents to bike for any reason in any season! Bicycling outdoors remains a great way to get the benefits of fresh air, sunlight, and exercise, all of which are necessary for the health of our bodies, minds and spirits.

Bike to the Olympia Farmers Market on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22. The first 50 people to arrive by bike or on foot receive a free plant start from the Farmers Market, and a gift bag from the BCC!
This April, create an original piece of art and email us a picture of it, and we'll enter you in a drawing to win a prize! All ages welcome! Drawings held weekly on Fridays through April 30.

Intercity Transit’s Winter BCC encourages all Thurston County Residents to bike for any reason in any season! To adapt to evolving circumstances, we’ve expanded our bike challenges to include all kinds of bike rides, and made them even friendlier for the whole family.
Play BINGO with us! During the month of June 2020, complete a Walk or Bike BINGO card, or do them both!

The Thurston County Winter BCC runs for the month of February, with weekly prize drawings among all participants who log miles that week.
The BCC Prize Hoopla is a fun and fast-paced celebration of our accomplishments as BCC teams and individuals. We'll announce winning teams and individual participants and award prizes. We'll have a few prize drawings on the spot for those present as well, so put your name in the hat!

Public Employees- join this fun lunchtime bike ride culminating in a picnic at Tumwater Historical Park – organized by public employees for public employees – a fun way to meet and mingle with other State and Local Agency employees to celebrate National Bike Month! In addition to light refreshments provided by WSDOT, you’ll find a bike workshop, e-bike test rides, free short chair massages, be part of this year’s group photo, and maybe even win a prize! Join fellow bicyclists for a fun morning ride in our local celebration of National Bike to Work Day. The event promotes bicycling as a healthy transportation option. If you participate, visit one of the bike stations along your way and pick up some “fuel” for you, and even get minor repairs done by a bicycle mechanic at some stations. Bike stations supported by Intercity Transit and the local businesses and organizations listed below. All stations will have copies of the most recent edition of the free Thurston County Bike Map!

Meet neighbors and enjoy a Saturday bike ride to town! The Earth Day Market Ride is a great opportunity to gain confidence riding with traffic and meet other people who bike to get around.
Rides will converge on Heritage Park Fountain at around 10:45 to 10:55. A free one-dollar Market Token for the first 50 riders to arrive! Plus coffee, cocoa and baked goods to fuel up! At 11:00 am, we'll have a cheer, a prize drawing and a group photo by the fountain.Then we'll ride to the Olympia Farmers Market, where you can catch some great live music, and enjoy the food and shopping- bring your bike bags!
Coffee, juice and snacks provided at the Heritage Park Fountain by our sponsors Batdorf and Bronson, The Bread Peddler and San Francisco St Bakery.
