Bike-Related City of Olympia Project

What’s happening?

The City of Olympia is improving crossings for pedestrians and bicyclists along Boulevard Road between the Union Avenue Pathway and Wheeler Avenue. They are also extending the existing bike corridor from Lions Park to Boulevard Road. This project will close a gap in our low-stress bicycle network by connecting the bike corridor to the regional trails network. The new crossing treatments will make it safer for bicyclists and pedestrians. Construction starts on April 1, 2024, and will continue through mid-June.
