School Bike Challenge

The School Bike Challenge is part of the Thurston County Bicycle Commuter Challenge which takes place during bike month every May. For two weeks, students are encouraged to log their miles when they bike for transportation. Intercity Transit provides schools with event support, and a tool kit. Schools are responsible for recruiting students to participate, handing out and collecting mileage logs, and awarding prizes.

Who can participate?

Elementary, middle, and high schools in Tumwater, Lacey, Olympia, and Yelm School Districts.
