2026 Winter Bicycle Challenge Summary

Final Results
Intercity Transit's annual Winter Bicycle Challenge wrapped up at the end of February. During the month, 315 participants rode a combined 27,980 miles on a total of 2,315 days! Sixty-five teams logged miles during the challenge and 28 riders participated in one of our bike challenge events for the first time. What a fantastic showing!
Congratulations to team Ovation Cycling Club who biked the furthest in February by racking up over 4,234 miles! Meanwhile Team CrankIT! had the most new riders join their team.
Participants got outside and rode their bicycles for health, transportation, and fun. Some even won prizes in raffle drawings! Over 30 people won prizes such as bike reflectors from Visto Cycling, bike lights from NiteRider, and bike bags from Oso Supply Company. Now, Thurston County residents can look forward to the April 18 Earth Day Market Ride and the May Bicycle Community Challenge (BCC).
