Bike to the Farmers Market and Food Coop

Submitted by Duncan Green

This May, for National Bike Month and the Bicycle Community Challenge, the BCC has teamed up with the Olympia Food Coop and the Olympia Farmer's Market to bring even more fun and rewards to your May bike rides! Ride your bicycle to the Farmer's Market and receive a Market Token worth $1 at the Farmer's Market. Ride your bike to the Food Coop and receive a snack treat and a stamp on your coop-provided Rider Card. Fill up your card with stamps and the Coop will enter you in a drawing for a gift card!

You'll save on climate emisions, free up parking spaces, enjoy the spring weather and meet other people on bikes in your community- what could be better!

At the Farmer's Market, proceed to the office after parking your bike to receive your Market Token.

At the Coop, mention to the cashier that you biked to the coop and would like to get your treat and Rider Card. Then make sure they stamp your card!
