Last Week of BCC 2021!

We are in the last week of the 2021 Bicycle Commuter Challenge! If you haven't gotten around to logging your rides, now would be a great time to do it, and to encourage your team or friends to log their rides too! We'd love to see a total of 800 riders and at least 60k miles when all is said and done- will you help us reach our goal? You can log your rides retroactively, for any day in May. Just click inside the "Date" field in the "Log a Ride" box, and a calendar will open. Choose the date you want and log your ride for that day, and repeat, for any days you missed!

Extended deadline for Week Four:
Log your rides by midnight Monday, May 31 to be included in the Week Four prize drawing!

Week Four prizes:
For this last week of the 2021 BCC, 15 lucky riders will win prizes, just for riding their bikes and logging their miles! Everything from cool BCC stickers, to tire levers,bells, water bottles, a bottle cage, a pump- all the way up to a 500-lumen headlight from NiteRider! Don't miss out on the fun, or on your chance at these awesome prizes!

In June, we tally up all the Team and Individual Results, and award Overall Prizes.

Individuals who logged rides on 15+ days are entered to win our Grand Prize bike vacation, the one-of-a-kind handmade 2021 BCC Quilt (pictured), and the Alaffia Gift Basket. Those who log 10+ days are entered to win Ortlieb Waterproof Panniers, Full Metal Fenders, an 850-lumen Lars Rover Headlight and other awesome bike gear from Portland Design Works, NiteRider and Bontrager/Trek.
Everyone who logs rides in May will receive valuable coupons, a BCC reflective sticker, and a chance to win one of our signature coffee mugs from Espresso Parts.
All members of teams that excel in any of six categories receive a recycled canvas shopping tote with the Bicycle for Joy logo!
