Bike Art Makerspace - May 27
Wednesday, May 27, 2026 - Wednesday, May 27, 2026
Create with the BCC and Arbutus Folk School
May 27 from 6 - 8 p.m.
BCC participants are invited to attend this free all ages event. This is a drop-in style event, meaning that pre-registration is not required and people may arrive anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. We will meet in the front classroom of Arbutus Folk School located at 705 4th Ave. E, Suite 101, Olympia, WA. There is plenty of bike parking located just outside the expansive classroom windows so, in the spirit of the BCC, attendees are encouraged to bike to the event!
Featured Project
Put the "chain" in keychain! The featured craft for May 27 is a custom keychain made from a bike chain! Attendees may also use chain links and other small bike parts to create a unique cord bracelet. All bike parts used on this evening are sourced from the Walk N Roll educational bike shop as part of the Pedal It Forward program.
This is the second of two makerspace events. On both May 7 and 27, we will also have a selection of quick crafts available. Take a moment to make a button incorporating the 2026 BCC graphic, design your own magnet, or fill in a coloring page.
View the event on the Arbutus website.
