Ride and Eat Lunch Together to Celebrate Bicycle MonthReading Bike Month Proclamation

Join us on Wednesday, May 20 for this fun and free event in celebration of May bike month! While this event started as an interagency ride between public employees, this is the second year it is now open to everyone. Begin at one of our ride starting points listed below and meet up with all other participants at Tumwater Historical Park at noon. At the park we will have snacks, fun prize drawings, e-bike demos, and other bike-related activities!

Join us at one of our ride starting points, listed below. Bring your own lunch to eat at the park and also bring some friends or co-workers!

Ride Starting Points

Capitol Campus

Meet at the Tivoli Fountain on the Capitol Campus at 11:30 a.m. 

Lacey

Meet at the Woodland Trail/Chehalis-Western Trail Roundabout at 11:30 a.m.

Intercity Transit 

Meet at the bike lockers in the visitor parking lot at 11:15 a.m.

Tumwater City Hall

Meet at 11:30 a.m.
